		<description>The web 2.0 crowd was all over Twitter but I ignored micro-blogging  as long as I could stand it, until I saw the NY Times article, then realized it wasn&#039;t going away.  I actually found your blog by way of Twitter, I did a Summize.com &quot;near:Austin&quot; search.

Like you said about news, for a while I got news from Techmeme.com, but now with Twitter I&#039;m able to find more web-savvy people closer to home, not just geographically but in terms of interests.  The people you find on Twitter are more likely to know what SEO is because they want traffic, whereas people hooked on social network applications are locked inside that womb, oblivious to how the Internet works: HTTP.  Now I see Twitter drawing people out from their  isolated social networks, little by little they see the Internet is a much bigger place.</description>
