Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays is the PC term, but I am not going to pretend that I don’t come from a Christian background, even if my beliefs are odd at best. Happy Hanuka/Kwanzaa/? to those that celebrate those holidays. I can’t always remember them all, so forgive me. If you want, post a comment and I’ll update with any of the ones I missed.
I just checked and I have 28 subscribers. To some of my counterparts on Twitter I know that’s not much, but it makes me happy. I wish all of you the best Christmas and an even better New Year. 2009 is going to be another year of wonderful change for me, my last year in Austin, another half marathon in February, a thesis due, an MBA to finish, and tons of conferences to attend. I will try to do my best to keep everyone up to date on where I am and what is going on with it all.
I want to thank a few people, though I know I will miss a ton. These are the people that have directly impacted my career this year and hold a special place in my heart. (In no particular order mind you) Thank you for believing in me and pushing me to be better. I owe you each more than I could ever repay.
To all the other wonderful people I have met, become friends with, and shared great experiences with, thank you. You guys have made this an extra special year for me. It’s wonderful looking back at this year and seeing all the extraordinary people I have met.
Okay, done with the mushy now. Go out, drink, be merry, and stay away from those “fun” family members!

awe. You will be missed. But it sounds like you are moving on to things better. Good luck and fun!
Thank you
But I will be back a lot … parents will be here forever so I have to come back all the time. And thank you again for the push this year to speak and the opportunity to do so. You have been and remain an awesome influence in my life.
I’ve enjoyed reading your blog this last year, although I only discovered it a few months ago, I’m a bit rubbish like that.
I have to finish my PhD this year, and I’m also looking at running a lot more so we have some similar goals to work towards.
I wish you all the best in completing all your challenges and lots of fun in the process.
