Stine. Not exactly "classics," but I liked them. I think that the lit available for teens and pre-teens this day and age is INCREDIBLE compared to what we had. Or maybe that's just my perception? I'm glad that teaching 7th grade LA has introduced me to all the great young adult authors out there right now! When I was a kid, I read a ton of Lois Duncan, Sweet Valley High series, and R.L.
