Snack Time Cereal – SEM Edition
Twitter can produce the most off the wall thoughts and conversations sometimes. Just what I need for inspiration. I went to SMX Advanced in 2008 and Michael Dorausch posted to SEOmoz about SEO’s favorite Starbucks Orders. So fun to read. No real point, but why does everything we read have to be work related?
Taylor Pratt asked if cereal was allowed as a mid-afternoon snack today. A resounding yes was heard from what I saw, and that sparked my interest. What do search marketers (and any of my other followers) eat? Specifically, what is an SEO’s favorite cereal?
Winner: Lucky Charms

Seems like everyone loves the marshmallows. Forget the sugar covered oats, we want the marshmallows!

I wholeheartedly agree with the decision made! Almost. The generic brand of Lucky Charms…Marshmallow Matey’s is waaaay better. There’s way more of those yummy little marshmallow’s in Marshmallow Matey’s – which is why you’re eating that cereal to begin with if you’re bein’ honest
LUCKY CHARMS FTW! (Where does one find this strange off brand Marshmellow matey’s?)
Well I’m delighted to see that once again, I’m not one of the masses of sheep living in the world
Cap’n Crunch with Crunchberries rules!
I can’t believe Frosted Flakes didn’t get more votes! You Lucky Charmers are missing out. It gives you so much of a better sugar rush then Charms.
Man, how could Cinnamon Toast Crunch lose out to Lucky Charms? It’s like 100 times better; you people don’t know what you’re missing!
Heck yes, Marshmallow Mateys for the win! My local Shaw’s has the 19 oz. bags at 2 for 5 bucks, you can’t go wrong with that. Plus my God, the amount of marshmallows you’re getting in that cereal bag is just staggering!
Christa, go to malt-o-meal.com and use their search button, type in your zip code and look for Marshmallow Mateys. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. They are just as good as, if not better, than Lucky Charms.
